Review Lego Star Wars 75102 Poe's X-Wing Fighter met drie minifiguren

Het is een mooi model welke eer doet aan de film wat betreft detaillering. Het laadvoertuig met wapenrek maakt het extra leuk voor mijn kinderen om mee te spelen. Het open en dichtklappen van de X-wings gebeurd met behulp van elastiekjes en dat komt wat goedkoop over. Dat had ik graag anders gezien. verder zeer tevreden over dit model. Dit is een ontzettend mooi pakket.

Pros: The finished ship looks fantastic! Great minifigures, both the selection you get and their individual detailing. The loader and ladder. Fun play features Cons: The four engines on the back aren't secured 100%. I wish the landing gear was higher, so that the model could be displayed on a table with the S-foils locked in attack position and fully open. I'd recommend this to all Star Wars Lego fans!

The way in which Lego has approached this new generation of X-Wings shows respect for an icon in film and toy history. To a large number of fans, the X-Wing represents one of the symbols of Star Wars. This set is a true homage to it. The modernisation should ensure that this classic spacecraft will stand the test of time. Too many stickers. Let’s leave it at that.

One major difference between the two are the spring loaded missile shooters on Poe’s, as well as the blaster, which shoots small Legos. A feature that makes Poe’s somewhat easier to rebuild with spare parts is the absence of the special gear piece that makes the s-foils go from flight mode to attack mode. That said, it is a VERY cool set and probably one of the more well-constructed Lego sets out there!

I’m not a huge fan of LEGO sets depicting scenes and vehicles only seen in movies for a few seconds. That said, my final recommendation for this set is going to be essentially the same as it was for the previous X-wing: Not really worth the price, except on sale. I also think the lack of the only interesting potential play feature was a really cool opportunity the designers missed.

Minor faults notwithstanding, this is an excellent model that's a thing of beauty and great to play with. It's everything a good Star Wars model should be: a faithful representation of an iconic vehicle with a great selection of minifigs, although how closely it matches the 'real' thing yet I don't know. The only fly in the ointment is the price.

I think the two or three small problems don't diminish the success of this model. It's slick, colorful and elegant, with a very interesting build process, a couple of play feature, great minifigs, etc.The couple of small side builds is not that great but at least adds playability. The color scheme works perfectly and set this model apart from the load of gray spaceships we are used to.
